On September 18, 2023, at approximately 1:23 am, Inverness Police were called to a well-being check for an individual in the roadway at Dundee Road and Guthrie Drive. Police arrived and located the body of a deceased female at the scene.
This is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
The Major Case Assistance Team (MCAT) is assisting the Inverness Police in this investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Inverness Police at 847-358-7766.
