Early Refuse, Recycling, & Yard Waste Pickup Due to Extreme Heat

In light of the upcoming extreme heat forecast for Thursday, July 16, 2026, Groot will begin the weekly refuse, recycling, and yard waste collection one (1) hour earlier (6:00 a.m.). 

This adjustment will help Groot complete the pickup before the peak heat of the day, ensuring the safety of their drivers and the prompt collection of waste. 

Refuse and recycling carts, as well as yard waste bags/bundles, should be placed at the curb no later than 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16.
