The Inverness Police Department provides "No Parking" signs for residents hosting events such as parties or garage sales. These signs help manage increased on-street parking and ensure roadways remain clear for emergency vehicles. Residents are encouraged to use this service to promote safety and maintain unobstructed access for police, fire, and emergency medical responders.
Guidelines:
- Signs may be picked up and returned Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
- Signs should be placed on your neighbor's side of the street.
- Residents are responsible for any damage to rights-of-way resulting from sign placement.
- Signs must be removed at the conclusion of the event.
- Signs must be returned promptly after each event and may not be kept between events.
If you are returning signs outside of administrative hours, please include a note with your address to ensure our records are properly updated.
